A BIT ABOUT ME

As a psychology graduate, I'm fascinated by what makes each person unique. I love reading other people’s writing, putting myself in their heads and making their writing sing. Until recently, I worked as a teacher while completing copy editing and proofreading projects on the side. Currently, my focus is on using my editing and proofreading skills to help others enhance the flow, readability and structure of their writing.

Curious and creative, I’m what you’d call ‘multi-passionate’; I have wide-ranging interests. I enjoy reading, researching and finetuning the written word - a satisfying job for an editor and proofreader.  As a bonus, I get to read and learn about a wide range of fascinating topics.

When I’m not reading and working I'm perfecting my te reo Māori, singing in a waiata Māori group, making my own clothes, gardening, camping and travelling.
